The nose is the center of the face, the most affecting part to the impression and the most important gate of breathing.
Asians tend to have wider and lower nose, have blunt tip and thicker skin.
'Detailed examination and planning with a medical specialist for plastic surgery is necessary since there could be complications such as hematoma, inflammation, asymmetry and scarring.'

1. Rhinoplasty (raise the ridge of a nose)

It is important to consider the whole facial impression and what kind of material to use and where to put it when conducting rhinoplastic operation.
The most widely used material is silicon and self- artificial cartilage tissue (Gore-Tex, alrodeom) can be used depending on the patient.
'In particular, if you only put cartilage, it may appear as time goes by. For this reason, Eve Plastic Surgery adds the corium layer of fat on top of cartilage as a cushion= cushion phinoplasty' Surgery for tip of the nose is required most of the time and cartilage is derived from ear cartilage and etc.
The incision is done inside of the nose and cannot be seen. If it requires precise surgery on the tip of the nose, the ridge part of the rounded sides of the nose will be incised.
The surgery is performed with local anesthesia or sedation and takes around an hour.
It takes 3 days to go down swelling and fully subside within around 7 days. It takes 3 weeks to be completely natural.

2. Rhinoplasty

1) Deviated Nose
If you have bent nose, abnormally large nose (hooked nose), short nose (upturned nose) due to an accident or without no particular cause, osteotomy, excision or incision on nasal septal cartilage can be applied to help relocate to a normal position.
Stuffy nose symptoms caused by bent nose are improved at the same time.
Partial anesthesia or sedation will be applied and it takes 2-3 weeks to get swelling go down.

2) Nose tip surgery
Deformation of the tip of the nose such as stubby nose, arrow shaped nose, upturned nose and any other deformation caused by cartilage change can be restored into normal state by cartilage relocation and cartilage transplant.
It usually is performed with other phinoplasty.

3. Hump Nose

If the hook is less than 2mm, it could simply be replaced or transplanted with cartilage. If is exceed 2mmm, it can directly be cut.

4. Lengthening short nose

With cartilage of nasal septum or ear cartilage, short nose can be lengthened.

5. Broad Alar Base Reduction & Hanging Alar Lift

If you have broad nose or sagging rounded sides of the nose, a surgery can be done to redressement.
